Sulator: Task management, time tracking and attendance in one place

Your team plans tasks, tracks hours and records attendance and leave in Sulator, one online platform. Typetech IT builds it for software teams, agencies and product teams.

One tool instead of 3 separate ones

Your team may plan tasks in one tool and track hours in a second. A third tool, or a spreadsheet, keeps attendance and leave, the daily HR (human resources) work. The tools are not linked, so a manager opens each one to check progress.

Sulator does all 3 jobs in one place and connects them. You can link your hours to a task in your plan, and approved leave appears in the attendance view. When a person checks out for the day, Sulator can end a time tracker that is still running.

Online, with a separate workspace for your company

Sulator is a SaaS product (software as a service). Your team signs in from a web browser.

Each company works in its own separate workspace, and your data stays apart from every other company’s. Inside your workspace, each person has a role: user, admin or super-admin. Sulator checks that role before it shows a page.

Typetech IT builds Sulator

We are a software team in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and we started in 2023. We also build and run Onedesk Pro, a customer messaging platform. If you have a question about Sulator, email us at info@typetechit.com.

How Sulator works

  • Time tracking

Start the time tracker when you begin a task, then pause, resume or end it. Each person tracks 1 task at a time, so the hours of 2 tasks never overlap.

  • Projects, sprints and boards

Plan each project in sprints. A sprint is a short work period with its own list of tasks. You can run several sprints at the same time, and you move a task by dragging it across the board.

  • Linked tasks and feedback

Link 2 tasks and say how they connect. One task can block the other, relate to it, duplicate it or be split from it. Your team writes feedback on the task itself, so every comment is next to the task it is about.

  • Attendance

Your team checks in and out each day. Sulator records each person’s status for the day, and a team member can ask to correct a record. Your company can require a geofence (a set area on the map) for check-in.

  • Leave and calendar

A team member asks for leave, and an admin approves it in 1 step. Approved leave shows in the attendance view by itself, so nobody enters it twice. The calendar shows holidays and events.

  • A live view for admins

Admins see what the team is working on now, without a spreadsheet. They also get timelines and reports. Hours, leave requests and requests to correct attendance are in one admin area.
